The Masters of Metal is an expansion from the Vinyl band that builds on the base Vinyl game and adds the basic collections and keepsakes.
Historically, souvenirs (such as t-shirts and posters) were purchased for a favorite band. Memorabilia add value to the collector's collection.
In MoM, players can obtain keepsakes and attach them to a collection. Souvenirs improve the value (or length) of collections.
In order to attach memories to a collection, icons like (decade, live, picture disc) must be arranged so that the icons are adjacent between albums.
The more memories and albums, the longer the collection. Unlike the base game, base collections only require players to match groups and reward players for long dedicated collections.
MoM is compatible with Top Shelf, Publisher Expansion, as well as Clearance Bin.
