Series 1 contains the first 250 cards from the 2024-25 Upper Deck core set. Each year, the Upper Deck Base Set is the most collected base set in hockey. It includes 198 veteran cards, 49 Young Guns rookie cards, and three checklist cards. The iconic Young Guns are the most anticipated rookie cards of the season.

Highlighted by the classic Exclusives (numbered to 100), High Gloss (numbered to 10), and Clear Cut parallels exclusive to recreational players, as well as the Outburst Red (numbered to 25) and Outburst Gold (numbered 1 of 1) parallels ), the extensive array of parallels in the Complete Core Set provides collectors with a large number of desirable cards to hunt.

UD Canvas, a long-time favorite among collectors, featuring a collection of the League's top stars as well as the best of the Young Guns. Series 1 contains the first 120 cards of this intra-series set.
- Collect four (4) UD Canvas cards per box, on average, and keep an eye on the black and white parallels as well as the printing plates of the 120 cards.
The Population Count acetate insert is back! There are seven different prints (1000, 500, 100, 50, 25, 10 and 1) of this popular intra-series set mimicking slab cards and featuring A-list stars and rookies. Everyone will run after low-run versions! The final 30 cards in this set will be available in Series 2.
The Dazzlers ensemble is also returning for another season! These stunning cards feature a new design for the 2024-25 season and are available in blue and pink versions. Dazzlers is an intra-series set of 150 cards and Series 1 contains the first 50 cards. The checklist contains mostly star veterans, but there are a few rookies sprinkled in too!

New inserts (and UD portraits)! From historic and original art-infused Young Guns cards to hologram cards, Series 1 features an impressive lineup of new insert sets:
- Aimbot: each card depicts one of the League's top scorers shooting on goal while showing, via targets, the opening(s) the player sees before shooting.
- Checkpoint: this set celebrates grinders and the "Checking" aspect of the game.
- City Satellites: The checklist is made up of superstars only. Each card features an action image of the player's full body with a satellite view of their hometown in the background.
- UD Portraits: Not only is the theme of this perennial favorite set refreshed each season, but the 2024-25 edition also benefits from a paper stock refresh. Series 1 contains the first 30 cards (all veteran stars) from this intra-series set. Collectors can complete their 2024-25 UD Portraits set with Series 2, which will feature the rookie versions!
*All four inserts are printed on foil card stock and there are Speckle, Black, Red (#'d up to 99) and Gold (#'d up to 10) parallels of each!

- A-Lines: Each card represents the three players on the first line of the 32 teams.
- Breaking News: This set recognizes the best moments of the 2023-24 season, with each card providing a brief description of the moment and a picture of the game in which the moment occurred.

- Young Guns Renewed: Each card in this set is a replica of a previous Young Guns card, but with a twist: each is infused with original artwork from Luke the Cardist. Series 1 will feature notable Young Guns through the 2013-14 season.
* Collect three (3) Young Guns Renewed cards per box, on average, and look for Exclusive Parallels (numbered up to 100) and High Gloss (numbered up to 10), as well as Printing Plates!
- Gaming: Series 1 offers an insert of 100 cards on the theme of gaming, divided into four subsets of 25 cards: Gaming Co-Op (two teammates with four category comparisons), Gaming FOV (a single player photographed from back so you can see his "field of vision"), Gaming PvP (two players from different teams - one with his home jersey and the other with his away jersey - simulated to face each other) and Gaming XP ( presents the "experience level" of each player).
*All four subsets are printed on foil board and there are Speckle, Blue, Green (numbered to 199) and Gold (numbered to 25) parallels of each.
* From the Gaming set, each box will contain an average of six (6) normal cards and one (1) Speckle parallel!
- Holotypes: Hologram cards are back!! Holotypes is a living set (no players will repeat) that will be a staple of Series 1 for the next few seasons. These rare cards are sure-fire hits!
