YOUR BELIEFS. YOUR DECISIONS. THE DESTINY OF A NATION
With its mechanics inspired by cult strategy games like Final Fantasy Tactics and the "HD-2D" artistic direction of OCTOPATH TRAVELER, Square Enix signs with TRIANGLE STRATEGY its great return to the field of tactical-RPGs.
In the heart of the continent of Norzélia, which bears the still visible scars of past wars, three territories which seemed to have finally found peace are about to tip over again into conflicts which could have dramatic consequences.
With tactical combat where thinking takes precedence and rich in strong personalities, the epic that offers TRIANGLE STRATEGY will ask you to make choices that will change the course of history, some being subject to a brand new voting system called "Balance of Convictions” in which you and your allies will have to vote.
Thirty years have passed since the Salt and Iron War tore the continent of Norzelia apart. Divided into three areas, the Kingdom of Glenbrook, the Duchy of Aesfrost, and the sacred lands of Hyzante, the continent of Norzelia enjoyed a brief period of peace.
While the engagement between Serenor Wolffort, young lord of a house of Glenbrook and Fredericia, young lady of Aesfrost was supposed to seal peace between their respective nations, the continent of Norzelia finds itself again plunged into conflicts.
Tactical battles rich in twists:
As on a chessboard, you command your troops and move your allies from square to square on a squared terrain. It's up to you to place them strategically according to their
strengths and their weaknesses: archers and mages have every interest in staying at a distance while characters in armor can advance in close combat.
Finding the ideal field placement for your troops is crucial to winning the battle. Think for example of positioning your weakest units in height to improve their range and protect them from direct attacks.
