The game features two professional tennis players who were famous at the time: Chris Evert and Ivan Lendl, although Chris Evert retired in 1989. Alternatively, the player can choose to customize their own players and award points for stats various, such as strength and agility, when creating them. Extra points are earned by winning matches.
