What we notice with the games in this series is that they are all based on phenomena that could happen, and so a real realism is set up around the scenario, that's surely what proves to be the most gripping throughout the story.
The risk, the weapon of mass destruction that could fall on many countries, and you will have to fight so that it does not happen.
