Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island on Super Nintendo lets us discover the origin of the brothers Mario and Luigi.
As a stork brings the two babies to their parents, the wizard Kamek bumps into it in order to prevent it from reaching its destination as he predicted that Mario and Luigi would cause trouble for his master Bowser in the future.
Kamek manages to kidnap Luigi but Mario ends up on the island of Yoshis.
The latter organize themselves so that Mario finds his brother.
