Biography
Long ago before the Giants protected Skylands, Tree Rex was a majestic tree living peacefully in the ancient woods. But that quiet peace ended when the Arkeyans built a factory nearby to produce war machines.
After years of his soil being poisoned by magical and technological waste from the factory, he mutated into what he is now - a mighty giant who will crush anything that threatens the natural order of things.
Story
Long before the first Giant set foot on Skylands, there was a large towering tree. It towered above the other trees in the forest and protected the creatures below with its mighty branches.
When the Arkeyans built a factory on the edge of the forest, little did they know it would end in death.
Magic escaped from the factory, poisoning the ground for hundreds of years. Slowly, little by little, this tallest tree began to mutate.
Its branches became arms, its trunk became a body, and its roots grew into a particularly massive pair of legs. Tree Rex was born and he was not happy. He immediately stomped on the factory apartment, then set out to find out who had cornered him there in the first place so he could crush them as well.
Tree Rex believes there is a natural order to all things, and anyone who threatens that order had better prepare for a crash.
