Sonic Boom is portrayed as the maternal individual of the Skylanders since she and her cubs are the only Skylanders who fight evil as a family.
As protective as only a mother can be, Sonic Boom Kindergarten shelters under its wings all those who need help.
She also doesn't like bullying. Sonic Boom can also be sentient, as shown in Terrafin Battles the Boom Brothers when she appeared hurt after Terrafin shouted at the griffin in order to get through Sonic Boom's screams.
Biography
Long ago, Sonic Boom took refuge atop a mountain in the far reaches of Skylands, hoping to protect her newborns from gryphons.
But despite her precautions, a sneaky wizard found her and cast a curse on the griffin eggs. Once hatched, the young hatchlings can only live for a few moments before magically returning to their shells... to be hatched again in an endless cycle.
Wanting to prevent such evil from happening to others, Sonic Boom joined the Skylanders and trained his little ones to defend Skylands with every outbreak.
Story
When Sonic Boom chose the highest mountain peak to lay her eggs, didn't she know she was being watched by an evil wizard? Wearing an invisibility cloak, the wizard made his way to Sonic Boom's nest, where he hoped to pluck a baby griffin feather for one of those evil spells.
Wizards live on a disgusting diet of liver and Brussels sprouts, while Sonic Boom couldn't see an egg thief, she could definitely smell one.
She filled the sky with a piercing scream and the wizard fell backwards out of his cloak. But as he fell, the wizard placed the young newborns under a cruel curse. Now babies can only emerge from their eggshells for a few minutes before returning to one of their eggs, trapped in an endless cycle of rebirth.
However, Sonic Boom and his hatchlings used the curse to their advantage and are now the first Skylanders to fight as a family. Their specialty is eliminating stinky wizards.
