Gill Grunt is a fish that never lets go of evil, ready to protect others than himself and his friends.
Courageous and courageous, it is a faithful companion to have at your side. Protective and determined, Gill is a big-hearted Gillman who never gives up.
He believes himself to be one of the greatest singers in history, while others find his singing appalling; a trait shared by all Gillmen. Despite this, Gill Grunt's friends (with the exception of Eruptor) love him too much to tell the truth.
Biography
Gill Grunt was a brave soul who joined the Gillmen army in search of adventure. While traveling through a misty lagoon in the clouds, he encountered an enchanting mermaid. He swore to come back to her after her tour.
Keeping his promise, he returned to the lagoon years later, only to learn that an evil band of pirates had kidnapped the mermaid. Heartbroken, Gill Grunt began searching all over Skylands.
Although he hasn't found her yet, he joined the Skylanders to help protect others from such evil, while always keeping a watchful eye on the beautiful mermaid and the pirates who took her.
Story
Gill Grunt grew up in a typical Gillmen town at the bottom of the ocean. From his bedroom's glass bubble window, he watched the circling cyber squids and menacing mega sharks. He couldn't have been more bored.
So he joined the toughest military corps to ever fight in salt water: the Gillmen Marines. His first tour of duty sent him into a distant cloud floating in the sky. Here, near the waters of a misty lagoon, Gill has been disarmed by the most unlikely of adversaries - an enchanting mermaid.
With his jaw to the floor and his eyes bulging even more than usual, Gill was wowed. He swore to come back as soon as he knocked out enough spiders.
He came back, but alas, it was a heartbreaking sight. All trace of the mermaid was gone. Choking in a salty stream, Gill traveled the local lagoons for his first love. To make matters worse, he learned that the scaled beauty had been taken prisoner by pirates. All was not lost, however, as Gill was soon hired by Master Eon.
Now he can combine his mermaid search with protecting Skylands from the peril of pirates.
During her time as Skylander, Gill Grunt had heard of the heroic deeds of Punk Shock, the Princess of the Royal Family in Wondrous Waters, after fending off a Snow Troll attack.
He then quickly recruited her into the Skylanders. The Gillman soon caught sight of the water dragon, Echo, for heroically saving his water kingdom from the evil Aqua Jocks, and Gill Grunt enlisted her as Skylander on the spot.
