Risen 2 takes place after the Titans have devastated the world by almost completely destroying humanity, a new threat then arises from the depths of the oceans. Monstrous creatures indeed attack all forms of navigation, preventing the inhabitants from using their boats.
The game begins when the famous nameless hero goes on a mission to search for a missing ship, on the way he meets an old acquaintance, Patty, still looking for her father.
