Quodd Heroes is a cube game. But large cubes, which represent our heroes, and move from face to face, "turning". Each cube is unique and each side allows a different movement: the visible side determines the ability you can use for your movement.
Add character upgrades, cards with special powers, events that will change game conditions, terrain effects, pets, etc.
The game is playable in several modes, although the main one is the "Quest" mode where players race to collect objectives on a board. If you've already played Robo Rally, you won't be out of place (minus the programming and its frustrations).
The project was originally offered on Kickstarter in December and shut down shortly before reaching funding. A wise decision, the reboot managed a much better score in less than a day to end in style with nearly 3000 contributors!
