You are one of Pharaoh's children. You will prepare your passage to the afterlife for a large part of your life: surround yourself with loyal nobles and the most talented craftsmen, build a sumptuous burial chamber... But the Gods are watching you and you will have to satisfy their requirements. Because at the time of the weighing of souls, each of your actions will be judged.
Pharaon cleverly blends resource management and worker placement into a single mechanic. Around the Wheel of Actions are located the 5 Districts representing the 5 actions of the game.
Each round the Wheel indicates which resource must be spent to access the corresponding District. As it rotates by one notch at the end of each of the 5 rounds, the cost of accessing actions fluctuates during the game.
Players must therefore plan their moves to anticipate the resources they will need in the next round. But places on the Wheel are limited. It will therefore be necessary to monitor your opponents and the resources at their disposal in order to guess their intentions.
