Pandemic on the Threshold is an expansion to our popular cooperative game, Pandemic, in which players take on roles to work together to find the cure for 4 diseases. In this expansion you will find six new roles (with role l? revised operations expert and a bio-terrorist), eight new special events and several challenge kits to add to the base game.
Virulent Strain Challenge: Makes a particularly deadly disease unpredictable.
Mutation Challenge: Adds a fifth disease (purple) that behaves differently from the original four diseases.
Bio-terrorist challenge: pit one player against the others. You can also play with 5 players and play at a legendary level.
Also contains: 12 purple disease cubes, 12 smaller pawns, petri dishes to store your diseases and tokens, a notebook for the bio-terrorist to record his actions.
