The hunt begins
The darkness approaches with Innistrad: Midnight Hunt, the first of two full card games returning to the iconic gothic horror plane.
It's time for the Harvest Festival, where the besieged humans of Innistrad hope to ward off the coming darkness. Far beyond the village walls, werewolves and other horrors roam free.
As the days grow shorter, will you fight the creatures that lurk in the shadows...or become one?
Double Sided Werewolf Cards
Never trust a first impression on the plane of Innistrad: any creature you encounter may have another, darker side.
Whether they're werewolves or humans determined to continue fighting them, even after they die, Innistrad: Midnight Hunt is full of double-sided cards.
All of the werewolf creature cards in Midnight Hunt are double-sided cards, plus a double-sided planeswalker card for the legendary local werewolf, Arlinn.
On one side you will encounter the human form of the werewolf, but flip the card over and you will free the beast hiding inside.
Collect cards with black and white illustrations inspired by classic horror films.
All Innistrad: Midnight Hunt Draft, Set, and Collector booster packs contain a Full-Art Eternal Night Basic Land Showcase with stylized black-and-white artwork and a special gloss treatment that makes their pinlines and mana symbols shine.
You can also find Showcase Eternal Night legendary creatures in select Draft, Set, and Collectible Boosters!
Showcase Equinox cards
Showcase Equinox cards feature frames draped with Harvesttide festival decorations and colorful ornate lines to perfectly complement their striking alternative art.
Every Werewolf and Warlock card in the set has both a regular version and an Equinox version. Collector Boosters contain at least three of these Showcase Equinox cards in each pack, and can contain up to five. Equinox Werewolf and Equinox Warlock cards can also be found in some draft and set boosters.
Horror-themed mechanics
Dive fully into the gothic themes of Innistrad: Midnight Hunt with horror-inspired mechanics.
Day/Night: Werewolves look like any other humans during the day, but as the moon rises, you'll see them transform.
Cards with the Daybound/Nightbound mechanic are double-sided cards with one side that surfaces during the day and another side that takes over at night.
Whether it's day or night depends on how many spells a player has cast during their turn: cast none and it will become night the next turn. Roll at least two, and on the next turn, the sun will rise on a new day.
Coven: Gather your clan to fight the darkness together. The "coven" keyword grants benefits for controlling three or more creatures with different powers at the start of your turn's combat.
Disturb: With their home so threatened, even the dead of Innistrad cannot rest. Double-faced creature cards with “disturb” can be cast from your graveyard for their disruption cost – returning to the battlefield transformed into Spirits.
Rotten: Summon waves of rotten zombies that collapse in battle. A creature with "rotten" cannot block and, when attacking, must be sacrificed at the end of combat.
