After being saved by Batman the night he returns from retirement, Carrie Kelley is determined to help the Dark Knight.
Spending her lunch money to buy a Robin costume, she sets out to track down Gotham City's superhero and become his protege and partner in crime-fighting.
Shortly after, Carrie finds Batman in the middle of a fight with the mutant leader and successfully saves the Dark Knight from near death, proving she is capable in the role.
Batman then accepts him as his new Robin, and although he is hesitant to do so, his skills and dedication make him a worthy sidekick.
