A highly skilled assassin, betrayed and murdered by his evil leader Jason Wynn. Al sold his soul to Malebolgia, one of the many rulers of Hell, in order to reunite with his wife Wanda Blake.
Malebolgia had other things in mind for Al and sent him back to earth with no memories as a Hellspawn, one of his soldiers, to do as he pleased.
He is ordered by the devil's servant, the Clown, to kill Wynn/Wynn also made a deal with the Clown, and is meant to destroy the world with a deadly virus that will help unleash Armageddon and allow Hell to attack Paradise. Spawn must choose between Good and Evil.
