Connor Bedard's first two NHL games were the most-watched regular season ice hockey games for ESPN and TNT respectively.
He became the third-youngest player in NHL history to record a four-point game and the youngest in Blackhawks franchise history to record a multi-goal game.
Bedard finished the 2023-24 season with 22 goals and 61 points in 68 games and was awarded the Calder Memorial Trophy as Rookie of the Year.
Bedard was selected to represent the Blackhawks in the 2024 National Hockey League All-Star Game and would have been the youngest All-Star player in NHL history.
However, due to a broken jaw, he was placed on injured reserve and was left off the All-Star Game rosters.
