A kind-hearted boy who loves his family, Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps in order to transform his sister Nezuko, who became a demon, into a human, as well as avenge his family's death by tracking down the demon that killed them.
He has a keen sense of smell which allows him to identify the weak points of demons or other adversaries he fights.
