HISTORY
The story begins at San Romero High School, the largest high school in the district, somewhere on the west coast of the United States. The protagonist Juliet Starling is an exemplary San Romero student who passionately loves cheerleading. However, unbeknownst to most, his family, the Starlings, are a lineage of zombie hunters, guiding the undead to the afterlife since time immemorial...
The incident takes place on Juliet's birthday. She goes to school to meet her boyfriend, but as she pedals her bike in the schoolyard, she is greeted by the sight of her former classmates, all of whom have been turned into zombies!
