Like most of their offerings for the sport, each 2022 Leaf Art of Hockey card is either an autograph or a commemorative card.
However, the whole thing is wrapped up in the theme of art. From original pieces made for the ensemble to themes for inserts, the masters act as a source of inspiration for subjects and designs.
Each box includes four cards.
2022 Leaf Art of Hockey - Checklist Overview
As with the 2021 Leaf Art of Sport game, the checklist features a mix of legends, superstars and names not seen in many products.
It also covers several generations of hockey players.
Basic autographs include hand-drawn images and are surrounded by intricate aluminum frames.
Players have two maps, a portrait and an action shot, not to mention multiple levels of parallelism.
Other signature themes include Art of a Champion, Imagestic and Walk on Water.
Visual art cards bring an autographed keepsake element to the checklist.
Multi-signature themes are featured in Iconography, The Rule of 3, and Quadography.
Several of the product's commemorative cards offer a sufficient amount of samples.
Art Object and Paint by Numbers feature multiple relics from a single player, two and three pieces respectively.
Retired Remnants features two players, who both shared the same shirt number which has since been retired by their respective teams.
8 Wonders of the World and Enshrined Exhibit both feature pieces from eight different players.
Museum Materials enters large samples.
There is also Artis Opus. Each of these pieces is one-of-a-kind and includes a large, unique memorial piece.
