John Elway's Quarterback is an American football video game released in 1987. The game was developed by Leland Corporation and then published by Virgin Games.
It was also developed as an arcade game for two players. The left and right joysticks having different functions (attack or defense), the players must change sides each time possession of the ball changes. In attack and defense, players can choose a tactic from a pre-established list in a playbook.
