Before winter arrives, this short period when the temperature becomes milder presents us with the most beautiful colors of autumn: the Indian summer. Meanwhile, New England is blossoming one last time before the harshness of winter. The treetops are ablaze with countless colors - a living rainbow, from green to orange to red. Slowly the first leaves begin to fall.
We walk through the woods, discovering all kinds of little treasures accompanied by squirrels playing in the foliage. We collect blueberries, nuts, mushrooms and feathers. We take a break to observe the shy inhabitants of the forest before returning to the house where a good book and a hot tea await us.
At the heart of Indian Summer, players will find tiles of various shapes that will be placed on individual boards of a forest hiding treasures. When players get these, they gain more options in order to overcome their opponents. The goal for each player is to be the first to completely cover their forest floor with leaves.
Indian Summer is the second game in Uwe Rosenberg's puzzle trilogy following the 2016 hit Cottage Garden. This game is designed for experienced players.
