With the concept of Tactical Defense, the art of defense has been redesigned to be as technical and tactical as in real football. Positioning and pass interceptions are as important as tackles and now tactics and timing come first.
AI-controlled players now benefit from Pro Intelligence, the system that manages their lucidity, and allows them to act and make decisions based on their own technical background and inclinations. They can thus analyze, in each situation, the strengths and weaknesses of their partners.

Every touch now leads to an endless array of results. Players feel more resilient, give their all in winning the ball, and recover more easily from light touches to maintain their natural rhythm.
- Pro Intelligence - Players controlled by the AI now benefit from a system that manages their lucidity and allows them to make decisions based on their own technical background, but also on the strengths, weaknesses and aptitudes of their teammates. Players with exceptional game vision, for example, will sense opportunities for passing through that other players might not. Arsenal strategist CescFàbregas will more spontaneously, and more quickly, analyze a team-mate's ball call than any other player less gifted than him in this area.
Additionally, AI-controlled teams will be able to vary their attacks based on their players' strengths on the pitch and the opponent's weaknesses. The matches will thus become more realistic and more varied.
