A tale of Dante's debut set against a contemporary backdrop, DmC Devil May Cry will retain the stylish action, fluid combat, and charismatic, sassy protagonist that are hallmarks of this iconic series, while adding a more brutal and visceral.
DmC's Dante is a young man who has no respect for authority, nor for society in general. Dante knows he is neither human nor like the demons that have tormented him throughout his life. Caught between two worlds, he feels like an outcast.
With the help of his twin brother, Vergil, leader of the protest group called "The Order", Dante gradually discovers what being the son of a demon and an angel means, and begins to accept it. This split personality has a major impact on gameplay, with Dante able to call upon angel or demon abilities at will, transforming his Rebellion sword on the fly, which will drastically affect combat and move.
