How I Adopted a Dragon is a dice game to tell extraordinary, funny... and downright magical adventures!
It's simple: the players designate a narrator who chooses his theme by taking a card and throwing the two numbered dice. If he rolls 2 and 1, he will have the choice between theme 12 or 21.
Choose a theme: With my unicorn at the vet / How I woke Sleeping Beauty / Yesterday, I received the Cannibal family / When I was a witches' broom repairer...
The narrator takes the white die and the 5 colored dice, placed from lightest to darkest. They will help him punctuate his story with transition words like One fine day / In addition / When suddenly / Coup de bol / And as if by magic
The narrator rolls the yellow die, invents the continuation of the sentence and continues by rolling the following dice one after the other. The only exception: the white die, which he can throw whenever he wants to bounce back with the onomatopoeias And there, Paf / Couic / Nooo / Hmmm... / Grrr or Tin, tin, tiiiin!
But be careful, at any time, the other players can roll the black die (max. 3 times) to spice up the current story: I love this passage! / Weren't you too scared? / Do you want my opinion ? /Oh good ? Why ? / And your dog in all this? / Can you prove it?
The narrator must then answer before continuing his story. At the end of a round, the narrator rolls a numbered die no matter what to award himself from 1 to 6 points.
Depending on the result and the story, the other players can invite him to throw the second numbered player to increase his score...
Does the final victory have a meaning? Ask the Dragon for his opinion!
The main thing is that you will especially have a great time telling crazy stories with this unusual game!
You can marry the Wildebeest and the Dragon! The principle of these games is identical but you can multiply the themes and lengthen your stories with 14 dice!
