Developed by Rocksteady Studios, Batman: Arkham City expands on the dense universe and crafted atmosphere of Batman: Arkham Asylum by plunging players into the heart of Arkham City, a high-security district intended to accommodate thugs, gangsters and other sick spirits from the city.
This highly anticipated sequel offers a new storyline that takes place within the fortified walls of a gigantic district of Gotham City and revolves around a new selection of famous characters and supervillains from the Batman universe.
This second opus also includes a plethora of new and improved gameplay features to offer players the ultimate experience in the Dark Knight universe.

- Arkham has been moved - Following the closure of Arkham Asylum and Blackgate Prison, Gotham's new mayor, Quincy Sharp, ordered the transfer of all inmates to Arkham City, a new and gigantic super -prison five times larger than Arkham Island, which encompasses many industrial districts, places of worship, and symbolic monuments of Gotham.
