Atelier Sophie 2 immerses you in the continuation of the many adventures of Sophie and Plachta.
After leaving "Kirchen Bell", Sophie's home village, the duo discover a huge tree identical to the one Plachta would have seen in one of his dreams, and as they approach it, a mysterious vortex sucks them inside.
Sophie wakes up alone in a new world called "Erde Wiege". Shortly after arriving, she hears of an Alchemist named Plachta living on the outskirts of town.
To her surprise, when Sophie arrives at the workshop, she meets an enthusiastic young alchemist named Plachta. Although she shares the same name as her friend, she doesn't seem to recognize Sophie...

• Become a master of alchemy! Atelier Sophie 2 takes the basics of the alchemy system from the “Mysterious” series of Ateliers, where materials are placed in boxes to create new objects.
The game thus allows alchemists, whether new or veteran, to synthesize objects in the way they wish via two types of synthesis: One through classic boxes to create objects with ease, the other through restricted boxes that are more complex to master but allow you to create more powerful objects!
