Unlike the Xbox 360 audio-video cable, which has a tab that prevents use of the HDMI port, this audio-only cable does not cover the HDMI port, allowing it to be used for video, while this cable manages audio tasks.
However, the fit is very tight and regular HDMI cables can fit, but put a strain on both HDMI and AV ports on the Xbox.
