A tactical role-playing game, Valkyria Chronicles takes place in an imaginary Europe of 1935 where Gallia, a free nation, is shackled in the middle of a conflict between two great powers.
The player follows the adventures of a couple of heroes, Welkin Gunther and Alicia Melchiott, who use their talents as strategists to save as many people as possible.
