During a secret mission in Troll territory, Astroblast crashed on a distant island. There, he came across an ancient relic that had been missing for thousands of years: the legendary Faillotron.
These magical machines, according to popular beliefs, were portals between Skylands and other worlds.
Shortly after this discovery, an army of Trolls appeared on the crest of a nearby canyon and charged towards Astroblast.
Knowing that the Faillotron would be dangerous in the wrong hands, he drew his weapon and prepared to defend the relic against the horde. After a fierce fight, the Trolls were beaten and fled.
When Astroblast returned the relic to his ship, the Sun Runner, the object swelled with energy and a hologram of Master Eon appeared.
Eon thanked him for saving the Faillotron and asked him to bring it back to the Academy. Astroblast accepted and he became a Skylander soon after.
