As her name suggests, the Golden Queen completely values solid gold of any kind.
She was extremely greedy, never having enough gold until everyone in Skylands was hers.
In her attempt to satisfy her desire for more gold, she turned objects and people into gold.
As the former leader of the Doom Raiders, she held a feared but respected position among her allies.
However, the Golden Queen can easily become angry (which makes her glow bright) if things don't go as planned, and she has no tolerance for failure.
Although she recruited the Doom Raiders, she showed no concern when several of them were captured as long as their roles in helping complete the Ultimate Weapon were fulfilled.
The Golden Queen firmly believed that gold surpassed everything, including friendship. When she turned Cali to gold, she claimed that the frozen Mabu was something more valuable to her than just a friend of the Skylanders.
On one occasion, she became aggressive and reckless when a golden egg was stolen from her on graduation day and turned down the opportunity to rule Skylands if it meant having all the gold in the world instead .
In her Meet the Villains trailer, she mentions being "fed with a silver spoon, but [elle] didn't want silver, [elle] wanted gold!", implying that the Golden Queen always been spoiled even from a very young age.
After her rehabilitation, the Golden Queen lost much of her obsession with gold, but kept her aggressive and proud personality even on the hero side.
She has also completely let go of her villainous side, as she now enjoys the new friendship and camaraderie between her new Skylander teammates.
