You are beekeepers, trying to make your fields bloom in order to attract bees and produce the most precious honey in the country. The type of honey will vary depending on the color of the flowers in your possession.
On your turn, you have 2 choices:
1) Take new flower tokens from the garden and keep them in your warehouse. 1 or 2 types or 3 different colors.
2) Flowering of a field: take a field tile to fill it entirely with flowers from your supply and/or beehives, and connect it to the other fields already acquired.
On these fields, each patch of monocolored flowers thus created or enlarged will give one point per box.
At the end of the game, each hive gives 1 point per bee present on the 8 surrounding squares.
Let's add that producing the 5 different colors of honey will get a bonus... but this bonus does not guarantee victory, as it is possible to optimize your score in other ways. The player with the highest score wins.
QueenZ is a game full of crucial dilemmas:
– Should we rather pick orchids or already flower a field?
– Should we favor flowers with bees (which can be full of bonus points at the end, but progressing slowly), or play the rush by picking up as many orchids as possible on each turn?
– Should we race for the multicolored production bonus obtained if we make the 5 different colors of honey, or should we favor large expanses of single-colored flowers, juicy in terms of victory points?
Of course, all strategies are possible. It's up to everyone to choose their own path!
