As on a real course, you will have to carefully study the wind and the terrain before hitting.
Fortunately, you can count on several features to help you such as the power gauge which allows you to see the influence of slopes on your shot, or even a scanner which allows you to examine the terrain in detail.
For action lovers, two new features: in the Speed Golf mode, everyone plays at the same time, then runs through the course to reach their ball before hitting it again, and so on while in the Golf Melee, players compete in an arena and must be the fastest to put three balls before the others.
A story mode also allows you to embody a Mii novice in golf and it is possible to play with up to three other players, locally or online.
