Beyond the last lands, on the island of Bois Ventus, diving is an ancestral tradition. During an initiation rite celebrated at the summer solstice, divers compete to fish out the sacred stone of the village.
Thrown from the top of the cliff by the dean, it drags the pretenders to the title of heroes to the depths of the ocean, aided in their quest by the friendly sea turtles and manta rays. However, to bring the stone back, they will have to avoid disturbing the sharks that inhabit the ocean.
The game takes place simultaneously for all divers who must secretly plan their dive. By observing the stacked Ocean cards,
they try to perceive at what depth levels are the turtles and manta rays ready to help them, as well as the sharks they do not want to disturb. They each have Air pawns which they use to program their actions. The winner is the diver who retrieves the sacred stone.
Dive explores the notion of perception, the ability of divers to observe the ocean (pack of transparent cards) and benefit from it: '' I have to avoid this shark, but is it on the third or fourth card ? ''
