Your ancestors lived in the forest for generations, surviving thanks to the Ley Lines – those magical threads winding through the pines and leading to the forest’s most precious treasures.
But you can’t live on moss and berries forever. At each solstice, the fairy markets invade the forest with their caravans overflowing with food and supplies. Gather what you can from the ground and find the markets before they leave.
Leylines is a reinterpretation of the classic game Auf Achse by Wolfgang Kramer, set in a new universe with new rules created by Daryl Andrews.
The game includes beautiful acrylic miniatures and a circular board featuring magical Ley Lines and mystical markets!
To win, players must collect resources in the forest and bring them to the markets by following the Ley Lines to sell them. But beware: magical merchants pay differently depending on what interests them!
Each turn, players wake up in turn and prepare for the day by placing their dice to plan their actions, then set off on an adventure in the forest using those dice. Along the way, they collect resources and deliver them to the markets to earn gold or magical items that will help them on their journey.
